Fred & Lorie Saunders – Founders, Sculpture Works Inc.
For more than 25 years, husband-and-wife team Fred and Lorie Saunders have been shaping metal into art that serves both beauty and function. Fred, originally from England, and Lorie, a Michigan native, bring a sculptor’s eye and technical mastery to every project, paired with design sense ensuring every detail is refined and every client supported.
Together, they’ve completed thousands of projects across California (and beyond!)—collaborating with contractors, artists, and homeowners to craft gates, railings, lighting, kitchen hoods, latches, art installations and so much more that stand the test of time.
As active members of the Sand City art community, Fred and Lorie are passionate about creating work that blends seamlessly into landscapes and architecture, transforming necessities into lasting works of art.
